I met a traveler from an antique land who spoke of a poem wrapped in myth and human legacy.
I've always enjoyed the poem Ozymandias by Percy Shelley. The prose carries such a distinct voice, ranging from bombastic dictation to that of a soft-spoken campfire tale.
As an exercise in how text can be used as a medium to determine how a piece of writing is read, I created this piece. I tried to capture the force in the word of the mythical Ozymandias and the despair quiet at the end of the poem describing the ruins of what was once thought to be an infinite rule.
